Science and art have always been deeply connected, and this year we're using the symposium to showcase the creative side of our institute as well. We're asking for submissions of creative science-related images taken by you to put up around the lobby area during the symposium, or to put up on the projector in between sessions. The best image will also stand a chance to be the cover of the abstract booklet!
If you've got any science-related images - a particularly beautiful graph, a picture of weird cells that looks like they're making a face, a picture of a fantastically terrible western blot, a close up of a beetle’s eye - please send us a high resolution image along with a short informal description of what the image is, and why it represents science to you.
We're casting the net wide and are happy to consider any sort of image as long as it has significant meaning to you, and looks pretty.
Please send your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before 14th September 2018.
