Research Interest
Our research interest is to understand the molecular mechanisms by that information encoded in the genome is read by the cellular machinery and to unravel how perturbations of this process contribute to the development of diseases. Using principles of chemical biology and molecular evolution, we are interested in engineering designer functions at the protein-nucleic acid interface that enable new ways of genetic information processing in vivo with implications for research, diagnosis and therapy.
